Bree’s Blessings was founded in honor of Bree Brown, a courageous and creative young soul who passed away after a 2½-year battle with Ewing Sarcoma—a rare and aggressive childhood cancer affecting bones and soft tissues.
Just one week before her passing, Bree envisioned a way to help other children facing similar struggles. She found comfort, healing, and joy through Expressive Arts Therapy, and wanted to share that gift with others. Bree’s Blessings was born from that vision.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for pediatric cancer patients to further their interests in music/art as a method of coping with their diagnosis and treatments.
Why the Arts?
Expressive Arts Therapy integrates multiple forms of creative expression—such as music, visual arts, dance, drama, and writing—to support emotional and psychological healing. For children facing medical challenges, this approach can:
-
Reduce anxiety and depression
-
Improve communication and self-expression
-
Build resilience and self-esteem
-
Provide a sense of control and empowerment
-
Create joyful moments during difficult times

Mission Moments
Avery's Mom
"Brees blessings wish gift and blessing boxes provided and continues to provide Avery with a creative outlet that allows her to express herself and still be a kid while going through a tough journey."
Hudson's Mom
"My son has received a wish gift AND Blessings Boxes. His wish gift has been an amazing escape for him to explore musical instruments. He has loved taking his music classes, and it has even helped with his speech. The Blessings Boxes provide us time together as a family to create something fun and interesting."
Hunters Mom
"Absolutely amazing in such a time of need. Lifted Hunters spirits up when he was so down."
